- Franco Barbero was born in 1947 in Turin. He is married, has two sons and two grandchildren.
- After his high school graduation he attended Turin University – Biology .
- From 1973 to 1985 he was in charge of Trading Management of two of the major industrial groups at the time : UNIMEC Group Ing. Bertoldo and Necchi Foundry Group, European leading companies in hot forging, machining and foundry.
- Since 1986, he has been in charge as Advisor of the Trade Management and General Management of some major Italian Companies, achieving excellent results.
- In the year 2000, he has focused on Spanish Subcontracting Market. Thereafter he has been succesfully following some major Spanish Companies leader in the world market.
